The summer season for Atlantic City tours is over and I’m headed to Little Rock for some new and unfinished business.
Arkansas, home sweet home. You know us. We gave you Bill and Hillary Clinton, Mike Huckabee, Asa Hutchinson, Daisy Bates, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Al Green, Mary Steenburgen, Billy Bob Thornton, Jerry Jones, and Walmart.... Yep, that’s Arkansas. And it’s where I was born and raised.
Coming home got me thinking about my own legacy. This year is about creating and building that legacy and Little Rock is where I’ve chosen to lay the foundation for my media work with the creation of drinc, the nonprofit philanthropic arm of Deborah Inc.
This is where I have donated all of my intellectual property to manage and hold in perpetuity. So, when I’m long gone, my work lives on.
I’ve always known that I would not leave a blood legacy. My work - everything I’ve created - is my contribution to humanity and now creating drinc gives it a portal through which it can reach past my lifetime - generations to come.
So… What will be your legacy?
